I know I've been kinda quiet on the blog for a second but I'm back to announce my 100 Likes!
... Okay its not that big of a deal I know, but I am getting somewhere...... right?
Man, from the first arrival to the end of the night, I had so much fun involving music. It made me realize that I really can do this stuff.. Anyway, I'm sure everyone's wanting to see the highlights so I'll shut up n show you the video.

Oh I've got a lot to catch up on, I know I haven't been blogging much lately about actual stuff, so this one might be a long one..
I've been trying to get in contact with various nightclubs and all of there websites are super out of date and their phone numbers are changed, or some of them don't even have a website at all.... I'd really like to get into Aqua. If anyone knows of any popular places that have live performances and would like to see me preform there, please contact me at info@YoungManik.com. Diners are cool too.

Mac Miller, Blue Slide Park. I wasn't really anticipating it when it was first announced the way I am now. It's dropping tonight, I know it leaked but I didn't want to listen to it yet. He's come a long way since I had first discovered him and he has been through a lot of different phases. I'm really eager to see what direction he's going to go on his next album. Regardless, I wanna congratulate Mac Miller for braking that barrier. Independent artist, number one pre-order on iTunes, number 4 in the world, album hasn't even dropped yet, AND it will be in stores everywhere. He really pushed hard, and he deserves it.
Been skateboarding a lot lately, I haven't been in awhile.
And got a new basketball.

Oh, I'm getting hard copies made of Unplugged. Or at least some EP's with the songs I'll be preforming around the city. I'm also working on getting publicized in these local magazines. I am going to try and make a music video real soon too! A lot on the to-do list.
So I got done with my Open Mic thing, thank you to those that came out to show support. I saw a lot of talent and I had a lot of fun there.

Sooo I decided I'm going to participate at the open mic event at UNF so come see me! It's @7:30 and its a free event, and there is a free food! How could you not?!? Please come and show support if you can! I have another performance at The Pit on November 11th, don't wanna talk to much about it until after the open mic -- just something to plug into your calendars.

As of right now—if I do preform—tickets will be $10 (c'mon guys thats nothing and I really need you to support me). I will need as many of my fans to show up as possible because the more people that come for me, the more likely I will be able to preform at different places and more frequently.

So these first two mixtapes I kinda rushed (as much as a "perfectionist" can rush himself) so that people can have something to listen to. But from this point on, I am gonna be taking my time and putting a lot more energy into every single track, so I can give you guys some REAL MUSIC soon. So I guess this is that time I was telling everyone to hold on till.

I can't thank you guys enough for supporting me so far! It's great motivation. I have been working non-stop (besides school.. which obviously comes first lol) on perfecting this project. It's not going to have any features but its the perfect mixtape to play at a party: crazy beats, clean yet fun lyrics, and catchy hooks. It is going to be a totally different project than Loose Thoughts.

I'm close, I have been working so hard and I hope it pays off. I have a few finishing touches put on it, and a few tracks to cut but over all it's sounding like a solid project. I have so much planned for after Unplugged that the adventure hasn't even begun.

Umm... The beats are pretty cool to me, they're simple, most of them are either like Sick Wit It or Her Name, but some of them are pretty creative.. They're all gonna make you nod you head for sure!

Lyrically - Its really quick on wordplay sometimes, but its mainly about flow, so you can play it at your next party! :P
Its lots of fun, and entertaining at least to me. I worked really hard on the mixtape and I really appreciate everyone who has been supporting me. Its goes in a few directions and this is the type of genre that the Unplugged Mixtapes will fit into.. its also clean (from the vocab point :P), its still a party mixtape so its going to end up pretty shallow, but there is no cursing on it!

What's good everyone? Got almost 100 views on the track! A lot of people really liked that track... a lot of people didn't.. I guess its just not your taste :P. Which brings me to the subject of this post: taste.
Ok so people keep hearing different styles in my music and are questioning what direction am I heading with Unplugged Vol. 1.. Well, my best attempt at an explanation is that it's for partying n stuff... like don't take it too seriously dude; play it at a party but don't take the lyrics in it and base my lyrical talent or ganre off of this mixtape.
For those looking for the lyrics.. just give it time I promise :). I got a lot lined up.
THE RELEASE DATE FOR Unplugged Vol. 1 WILL BE ANNOUNCED VERY SOON. I've been working a lot the last few days, I've recorded 2 tracks a day - can't slack off: Eat, Sleep, Musik, Repeat lol. More info coming very soon, once I can drop this mixtape I won't have to put up so many info-laced posts. NEW SINGLE DROPPING IN ABOUT A WEEK be ready..
I know it doesn't sound like much at all, but 75 views is to me, so thank you to everyone supporting my music! A lot of new information is coming soon, and definitely more music. A lot of people are giving me great feedback on the new track so thats cool. Been in the studio a lot since I've dropped that last track... *namedrop* :O
Just finished recording the track today, everything is on schedgy. I might actually release a different track instead; still debating.. anyway...
I'm really trying to set a release date for the mixtape, it really should not be too far from now, but I am a perfectionist, so if it does take me a little longer than expected I will still be dropping a tun of material.

PLEASE PLEASE leave feedback, you can say its whack, or that its live, but I just want some kind of feedback to know what people think of the track, and if they can give any instructive criticism.
